We believe that baptism is an outward sign of God’s mercy and grace, a grace that is not just limited to adults who can express their faith verbally, but is inclusive of children who cannot. The baptism of children witnesses to the truth that God's love claims us before we are even able to respond. Titus 3:5 says: “God saves us, not because of any works of righteousness that we do, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” Therefore, we recognize and practice both adult and infant baptism.
